What you'll need
- Proof of Identity (POI)e.g. Passport, Voter ID, Driving Licence, PAN, Ration/PDS Card
- Proof of Address (POA)e.g. bank/post-office passbook, utility bills (electricity/water/gas/telephone, under 3 months old), rental agreement
- Proof of Relationship (POR)e.g. Marriage Certificate — needed when a family relationship is part of what you're proving
- Proof of Date of Birth (PDB)e.g. Birth Certificate, Passport, Matriculation Certificate
Common mistakes
- Every document must be currently valid, in your own name, and cross-verifiable — an expired or bill in someone else's name won't be accepted.
